Police: Woman Snatched Expensive Crocodile Purse From Manhattan Ralph Lauren Store
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police in Manhattan are asking for help finding a woman accused of snatching an expensive handbag from Upper East Side store.
Authorities said that on February 12 around 3:35 p.m., the suspect was inside the Ralph Lauren store at 888 Madison Avenue and walked out with a brown, crocodile bag without paying for it.
The handbag is said to be worth upwards of $25,000.
The suspect is described as a white female in her 40's or 50's with brown hair, a thin build and approximate weight of 110 to 115 pounds.
She was last seen wearing a tan, three-quarter length coat with a maroon scarf, black pants and black boots.
