Police: Windows Smashed On Several Cars In Valley Stream
VALLEY STREAM, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Long Island are looking for the smash-and-grab suspects who vandalized cars in Valley Stream.
Windows were destroyed on at least six cars at a parking lot near the town's train station, police said.
Residents got the rude awakening Friday morning when they went to get their vehicles.
"They took my wallet, some cash, license, school and work ID and debit card," one victim told CBS 2.
Eight more cars also had their windows smashed at two other locations in the neighborhood, police said.
