Police: Two Armed Suspects Stole Cash, Jewelry, Phones From South Hempstead Home
SOUTH HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for two armed men accused of breaking into a South Hempstead home on Thursday morning.
The two suspects entered the May Street home around 11:50 a.m. through an unlocked front door, police said.
They then went to the bedroom and demanded money from a 69-year-old woman before going through the home, removing cash, jewelry, electronics and cellphones, police said.
A family member who arrived home a short time later called police.
No injuries were reported.
The suspects fled in a car.
