RYE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A 14-year-old boy is under arrest for allegedly making prank phone calls.
His alleged actions sent police and SWAT teams into action in Westchester last week.
More than 30 officers from several departments had responded to what turned out to be a false report of a home invasion and shooting in Rye.

The teen allegedly used a computer to send a message to 911 operators asking for help.
It read, "I'm under my brother's bed hiding from three heavily armored men. They already shot my sister. She's bleeding."
Authorities said the teen went too far.
"There's a big difference between the kind of pranks we may have done as a kid," Rye Police Commissioner William Connors said. "This puts people at an incredible risk."
Police and the FBI are looking into whether three other similar incidents in the past week are connected.
Officials are also trying to determine if the teen acted alone.
