Police: Suspect Attacked Woman At Bedford-Stuyvesant Bar
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Monday were searching for a woman who allegedly assaulted another woman at a bar in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.
The suspect got into a quarrel with the 29-year-old female victim around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, at the Divine Bar and Grill, at 896 Broadway in Brooklyn, police said.
The suspect then assaulted the victim with an unknown sharp object, causing a wound to the victim's forehead and two wounds to the right side of her face that required 70 stitches, police said.
The suspect was described as a black female standing about 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds.
Police have released surveillance video of a suspect standing near a pool table at the bar.
