Nassau County Police Lt. Kevin Smith said that, once inside, the masked men pulled out guns and demanded cash.
"They forced one of the employees down on the ground and they turned toward the other one, who happened to be counting money out at the front desk, and they demand that he turn the money over to them," Smith told WCBS 880 reporter Sophia Hall.
Smith said the crime took place around 11:30 p.m. - about half an hour before closing time.
"A lot of people walking around with masks on this time of night," Smith said. "Our officers kind of scoured the area and, unfortunately, were unable to find these two guys."
Police say the suspects got away with an undetermined amount of cash.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
