Police Seek Woman Who Robbed Livery Cab Driver In The South Bronx
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police were searching Monday night for a woman who robbed a livery cab driver in the South Bronx.
The driver picked up the woman at 145th Street and Third Avenue, in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx, around 11:10 p.m. Sunday, police said.
Once they arrived at 10 Richman Plaza east of the Major Deegan Expressway, the woman threatened the 28-year-old driver, assaulted him in an unspecified fashion, and ran off with an unknown amount of money, police said.
Police have released a surveillance image of the suspect.
