Police Seek Suspect Who Tried To Rob 2 Women In Flushing, Queens
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police Monday were searching for a man who tried to rob two women – one of them 76 years old – in Flushing, Queens last week.
Around 4:40 p.m. on Jan. 7, the man pushed the 76-year-old to the ground at Kissena Boulevard and Beech Avenue and attempted to take her personal property, police said.
The suspect then tried to remove property from a 53-year-old woman. He ultimately ran off without anything.
The older woman suffered minor injuries, police said.
The suspect is described as an Asian male standing about 5-foot-11 to 6-2 with pocked skin. He was last seen wearing a tan bubble jacket and dark sneakers, police said.
