Police Seek Suspect In Connection With Attempted Luring Incident In Queens

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD has asked the public for help in tracking down an individual wanted in connection with an attempted kidnapping in Queens.

At 2:35 p.m. on March 14, police spoke with an 11-year-old male who claimed that he was approached by a an unknown male in a dark blue sedan.

The boy had been waiting to be picked up from school at the time and said that the man approached him and offered to take him on a trip.

"Get in the car, I'll take you somewhere nice Upstate," the suspect said.

When the victim refused, the suspect exited the car and attempted to pull him in. The suspect fled when the boy's father arrived to pick him up.

The suspect has been described as an Asian male, 40-years-old, with short black hair, brown eyes, dark skin, and a goatee, he is between 5'6" and 5'8", and was last seen wearing a multi-colored sweat shirt and brown socks.
