Police Seek Suspect In Brooklyn Livery Cab Robbery
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The New York Police Department has asked for the public's help in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a livery cab robbery in Brooklyn.
Police said the victim picked up the male suspect at Fulton Street and Brooklyn Avenue back on Dec. 6.
When the livery cab arrived at 2989 Fulton Street, the suspect displayed a black firearm and demanded the victim's money and iPhone, authorities said. The suspect fled northbound on Elton Street with the items.
The cab driver was not injured during the incident.
Police describe the suspect as a possibly Hispanic male, with a light complexion, trimmed mustache and beard, approximately 5'6" and 150 pounds. He was wearing a black jacket, black jeans, tan work boots and a light-colored winter hat and scarf.
