Police Seek Public Help In Tracking Down Two Armed Robbery Suspects
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- Police are asking for the public's help in identifying two men suspected of committing a series of armed robberies in Greenpoint.
The first incident occurred on July 5, shortly before 6 p.m. in front of 2486 Valentine Avenue. Police said that the suspects approached the victim from behind, displayed a firearm, demanded property, and shot the victim in the buttocks as he attempted to flee.
On Saturday July 20, the suspects allegedly robbed a 59-year-old man again at gunpoint, and fled in an unknown direction.
A third incident occurred on July 16, the suspects allegedly robbed a 47-year-old man as he entered an apartment building.
One suspect is described as a 25-year-old black male, he is 5'10" and weighs 200lbs, the second suspect is a 30-year-old black male, he is 6'0" tall and weighs 200lbs.
