Police Seek Cemetery Vandals On Long Island
UNIONDALE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) - Police say they are on the look out for two teenagers who broke into a cemetery on Long Island and caused damage.
On Tuesday, two Nassau County police cars blocked an entrance to the Greenfield Cemetery in Uniondale.
Lt. Robert Galgano told WCBS 880 reporter Sophia Hall that two teenagers jumped the fence around 9 p.m. Monday, broke into the administration building, stole the keys to a town of Hempstead van, and then started driving out of control.

"The operator of this vehicle hit a large tombstone and bailed out of the car, along with the passenger, and fled the scene," Galgano said.
The two male teens are still on the loose and Galgano said the headstone was knocked over and both the stone and the van had minor damage.
