Police Seek Bedford-Stuyvesant Sex Assault Suspect
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for a man they say sexually assaulted a woman in Brooklyn early Saturday morning.
According to police, the suspect followed the 22-year-old victim in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 1 a.m., then pulled her between two cars. The man threatened the woman with a gun and then sexually abused her before fleeing the scene, police said.
The victim was taken to an area hospital, where she was treated and released, police said.
The NYPD has released surveillance images of the suspect. The man is described as having dark skin; being in his early 30s; standing about 5 feet, 10 inches tall; and weighing 160 pounds. He was seen wearing an Adidas T-shirt.
