Police Search For Teenage Suspects In String of Brooklyn Burglaries
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Saturday were asking the public to help them find two teenage suspects in connection with a string of burglaries in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn in recent months.
The suspects struck one building three different times.
The first incident happened on Sept. 30 between 8:30 and 10 p.m. The suspects got into the building at 101 Van Buren St. through a rear window and stole a handbag and a laptop.
On Oct. 4, between 3:20 and 3:25 p.m., the suspects struck again at 188 Marcus Garvey Blvd., entering through a rear window, but fleeing emptyhanded.
Three days later, between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., the suspects returned to 101 Van Buren St. and entered again through a window. This time, they took a Mac Pro laptop, an iPad, and jewelry.
The same day, they entered the building again, but fled without taking anything, police said.
The suspects were both described as black males between the ages of 14 and 17, with slim builds. One was wearing a blue sweat suit, while the other was wearing a white long-sleeved T-shirt and gray jeans.
