Police Search For Suspects Who Robbed Radio Shacks In Brooklyn, Queens
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police have asked for the public's help in a search for three suspects wanted in connection with the robberies of Radio Shack stores in Brooklyn and Queens – all in broad daylight.
The incidents happened at 2:47 p.m. Oct. 28 in a Radio Shack at 110 Montague St. in the Brooklyn Heights section of Brooklyn; at 9:40 a.m. Nov. 7 in a Radio Shack at 1412 Rockaway Pkwy. in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn, and at 3:55 p.m. Nov. 11 at 113-20 Liberty Ave. in the South Richmond Hill section of Queens.
In each incident, three men stormed into the stores wearing ski masks, flashed firearms, and ordered the store employees into the back of the stores.
The suspects took all cash and electronic merchandise before running off.
In the third incident, an unknown man was talking to a store employee before the robbery. He is wanted for questioning, police said.
The suspects are described as black males ages 20 to 25, standing between 5 feet 6 and 5 feet 9 inches tall.
