Police Search For Sexual Assault Suspect In Flushing, Queens
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Wednesday were asking for help from the public in finding a suspect who sexually assaulted a 46-year-old woman in Flushing, Queens.
The assault happened around 4:50 p.m. this past Saturday on Union Street, police said. The suspect forced his way into a "location" with a firearm in his waistband and sexually assaulted the woman, police said.
The woman was taken to Queens General Hospital, where her condition was reported as stable, police said.
The suspect was described as a white man in his 40s, standing about 6-foot and weighing about 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light blue T-shirt, shorts, sneakers and a baseball cap, police said.
