Police Search For Robber Who Held Up Midtown East Bank
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police this weekend were asking for the public's help in finding a robber who held up a bank in Midtown East.
The robbery happened around 11:35 a.m. Friday. The suspect walked into the Sovereign Bank branch at 711 Third Ave. and demanded money, police said.
There was no report of a weapon involved.
The teller complied, and suspect fled with an undetermined amount of money, police said.
No one was reported injured in the robbery.

Police have released surveillance photos of the robber.
