Police Search For Masked Robbers Who Held Up Bay Ridge Bank
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police have requested the public's help in finding two men who robbed a bank late last month in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.
The robbers held up the Capital One Bank at 7110 Fifth Ave. in Brooklyn around 2:10 p.m. Oct. 27, police said.
They walked into the bank wearing masks and latex gloves and armed with handguns, and demanded money from the teller.
The teller handed over an undisclosed sum, and the suspects fled in a silver-gray four-door sedan, police said.
One suspect is described as a white male standing 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing a multi-colored shirt, dark jeans and white sneakers. The other is described as a white male standing 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing a blue or grey shirt, blue jeans and black sneakers.
Surveillance photos were also released, showing the getaway car, as well as the suspects in the bank wearing Halloween masks and outside with their masks off.
