Police Search For Brentwood Sex Assault Suspect
BRENTWOOD, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Long Island were searching Friday for a suspect who sexually assaulted a woman as she walked down a Brentwood street.
The woman was walking down Grouse Drive around 9 p.m. Feb. 13, when she was approached by a man who talked to her in Spanish, police said. The woman ran from the man, but ended up falling on ice in the street, police said.
The man caught up to the woman and sexually assaulted her before running off, police said.
The suspect was described as Hispanic and between 30 and 40, standing about 5 feet 6 inches tall, and chubby. He had a full black mustache and thinning black hair, and was last seen wearing a brown Carhartt jacket with blue jeans and work boots, police said.
Police have released a sketch of the suspect.
