Police Search For 7 Suspects In Massive Brawl At Bronx Deli
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police in the Bronx are looking for suspects in connection with a massive brawl inside a deli.
It happened just before 4:30 a.m. Sunday inside the 1253 Deli on Castle Hill Avenue in Parkchester.
It all started when police said one of the victims began talking to a woman. Words were exchanged and then a fight erupted, police said.
The entire incident was caught on surveillance video.

Inside the store, one of the victims is seen on the video fighting off several people before being hit by a snack display. Outside, another victim is seen being beaten and kicked while on the ground.
One of the victims, a 20-year-old man, was stabbed in the right torso and sustained eye and head injuries, police said. A second victim, a 26-year-old man, sustained multiple facial fractures, police said. A third victim, a 20-year-old man, was also stabbed, police said.
In addition, cash and a cell phone was taken from one of the men and an iPhone was taken from another, police said. All three were taken to the hospital where one of the victims was treated and released. The other two remain in stable condition.
As 1010 WINS' Carol D'Auria reported, the deli has been open since 1992 and since then it has been open 24 hours a day.
But as a result of the fight Sunday, the owner said he will be closing the business at midnight Thursday through Sunday from here on out.
Mohamed Ayad, whose brother owns the deli, said $5,000 roll-down, automatic gates have now been installed.
"The automatic gates are electric so we can close at nighttime," he said. "Safety first, you know, we don't want to lose our life."
A few doors down from the deli is a lounge and Ayad said he believes that's where the troublemakers came from.
"They usually they fight outside, but this was the first time they fought inside," he said.
Police describe two of the suspects as Hispanic women and the other five as black and Hispanic men.
