Police Search For 3 Suspects In Brooklyn Robbery Sprees
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Tuesday were asking for help from the public in finding three suspects who allegedly robbed 12 men on the streets of southern Brooklyn in two early-morning sprees.
All of the incidents happened between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15 and Friday, Nov. 1 in the Borough Park and Bensonhurst sections of Brooklyn, police said. In each incident, the suspects threatened or assaulted the men and ran off with their personal property.
The following victims were targeted at the following times and places:
A 24-year-old man, outside 964 59th St., around 2 a.m. Oct. 15;
A 44-year-old man, at Eighth Avenue and 59th Street, around 3 a.m. Oct. 15;
A 30-year-old man, at 24th and Benson avenues, around 3:20 a.m. Oct. 15;
A 57-year-old man, at 63rd Street and Bay Parkway, at 3:50 a.m. Oct. 15;
A 23-year-old man, at 20th Avenue and 84th Street, around 4 a.m. Oct. 15;
A 29-year-old man and a 30-yeear-old man, outside 774 51st St., around 4:10 a.m. Oct. 15;
A 33-year-old man, at 23rd and Benson avenues, around 5:20 a.m. Oct. 15;
A 48-year-old man, outside 1451 60th St., at 5:38 a.m. Oct. 15;
A 25-year-old man, outside 4305 18th Ave., around 4 a.m. Nov. 1;
A 52-year-old man, outside 2150 86th St., at 5:17 a.m. Nov. 1;
A 28-year-old man, outside 2035 86th St., at 5:28 a.m. Nov. 1.
Police have released a surveillance video from the latest incident. No description of the suspects has been released.
