Police Release Suspect Photo In Staten Island Identity Theft
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is asking for the public to help uncover a bewildering case of grand larceny involving a Staten Island man.
Authorities said a man returning home from vacation, discovered that someone had opened multiple department store credit card accounts from various stores and purchased merchandise using the cards.
The victim also came to know that a suspect used his driver's license and withdrew money from a Chase Bank in Ramsey, New Jersey.
According to a report in the Staten Island Advance, the victim had taken a trip to India from March to late August, when he learned of the identity theft.
Police have released a photo of the suspect, who police describe as a bald, white man in his late 50's to early 60's.
