Police Release Sketch Of 1 Of 2 Suspects Who Allegedly Sexually Assaulted Woman Within An Hour
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Thursday released a sketch of one of two suspects who allegedly sexually assaulted the same victim within a period of an hour in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.
The assaults both took place between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 31, police said.
In the first incident, the victim was approached around 5 a.m. by a suspect who pushed her to the ground and sexually assaulted her in front of 187 Gates Ave. in Brooklyn, police said.
The suspect threatened the use of the gun but did not display one, police said.
In the second incident, a different man came up to the suspect in front of 58 Irving Pl., pushed her to the ground, and sexually assaulted her, police said. Like the first suspect, the second man threatened the use of a gun, but did not display one, police said.
The suspects were both described as light-skinned black or Hispanic males. The one in the first incident was about 5 feet 7 inches tall and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a red T-shirt, while the one in the second was about 6 feet tall and weighed 170 pounds, police said.
Police have also released surveillance video of a suspect in the second incident.
