Police Release Dramatic Video Of Brooklyn Shooting; 3 Suspects Being Sought
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are asking for help to identify a suspect and his two accomplices, wanted for a shooting in Brooklyn that happened on Tuesday.
Authorities said that around 3 p.m. on Sept. 27, an 18-year-old man was shot four times after having a verbal dispute with one of the suspects.
The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital with gun shot wounds to his torso, groin, leg and a graze wound to his head. He is in critical, but stable condition, police said.
Police have released surveillance footage that shows the shooting in front of a McDonald's on Nostrand Avenue.
In the video, one of the suspects, walks backwards handing a black bag to another suspect wearing a white t-shirt and dark jeans. That suspect then takes the bag and removes a .32-caliber revolver and places it in his waistband, according to a description given by police.
When the victim, wearing a white tank-top dark shorts goes to enter the McDonald's, he is shot by another suspect. All of the suspects were able to flee into the McDonald's and escaped through a side door, authorities said.
