Police Probe Shooting That Left 2 Wounded In Bergenfield, N.J.
BERGENFIELD, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Police in Bergenfield, N.J., Sunday night were investigating a broad daylight shooting that left two people wounded.
The shooting happened around 10 a.m. Sunday, police said.
Witnesses told The Record they heard a quarrel shortly before the shooting occurred at a home on Westside Avenue, and that one of the victims was a man. But authorities did not provide details about the shooting, including what type of weapon was used and whether more than one assailant may have been involved.
The two wounded people were taken to Hackensack University Medical Center with unspecified injuries, police said.
The investigation was ongoing Sunday night, and police said no further information would be released until the investigation was complete.
