Police Officers Deliver Baby Boy In Patchogue House Call

Shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday, police officers arrived at Anna Punin's Laurel Street home after receiving a call that she was experiencing severe labor pains.
The baby boy couldn't wait to enter the world and the officers, who are also emergency medical technicians, helped Punin through the delivery at her home.
The baby, Punin's fifth child, was born at 1:34 a.m.
Mother and child were taken to Stony Brook University Medical Center after the delivery. Both are doing fine.
