Police: N.J. Man Drowns In Swimming Pool On L.I.
CENTEREACH, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Police are investigating the death of a New Jersey man who drowned in a swimming pool on Long Island.
Police say 35-year-old Marco Rodriguez-Bravo, of Elizabeth, was found by a family member in a pool in the backyard of a home on Carriage Lane in Centereach at about 6:30 Sunday morning.
Police say family members pulled him out of the pool and performed CPR on him until police and emergency medical technicians arrived. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police told Newsday that the victim had been at a party at the home Saturday night.
Police did not say how long the man had been in the pool.
