Police: Man Wanted For Rape, Forcible Touching Pattern In Bushwick
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Police have released surveillance video of a man suspected of rape and forcibly touching a victim in two incidents in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
According to police, the suspect first struck on Feb. 1 when he approached a woman, 39, from behind on Woodbine Street, pushed her to the ground and grabbed her buttocks and breasts over her clothes.
The victim fought off the suspect, who then fled, police said.
The suspect then struck again on April 6, police said. According to police, the suspect approached his 37-year-old victim from behind inside a building. Police said the suspect pushed his victim to the ground, placed an unknown object against her bck and demanded money and went through her pockets. When the victim said she had no money, that's when police said the suspect raped her.
The surveillance video of the suspect was captured on April 6.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, about 5'9" or 5'10" and weighing 165 pounds with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black jeans.
