Police: Man Uses Fake Credit Card To Make $5,000 In Purchases At Brentwood Gas Station
BRENTWOOD, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Suffolk County Police are searching for a man who they say used a fake credit card to make purchases at a Brentwood gas station.
The suspect used the card several times between Dec. 20 and Jan. 19 at a Gulf gas station on Motor Parkway, police said. He bought about $5,000 in gas, cigarettes and other items.
Police have released surveillance pictures of the suspect and a white van he was seen driving.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
