Police: Man Arrested For Coaching Kid To Swear For YouTube Video
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) -- A Connecticut man has been arrested on allegations he coached his 8-year-old neighbor to swear and say racial slurs for a video he posted on YouTube.
Twenty-four-year-old Josh Eastman of Bridgeport was charged with impairing the morals of a child Tuesday and later posted $2,500 bail.
The boy's mother, who asked that her name not be used, told the Connecticut Post that the video has upset her family. She said her son told her Eastman paid him $1 to make the video titled "Swearing Kid."
Police say the video shows the boy saying obscenities and racial slurs in his front yard, and a man's voice can be heard encouraging him to make the comments.
Eastman told the Post Wednesday that what the boy said on the video wasn't disgusting. He said it was "funny.'"
