Police Make Arrest In Elderly Brooklyn Woman's Rape
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting an elderly woman in her Brooklyn home.
Detectives tracked down 33-year-old Gerrard Pressley at his Lott Avenue residence early Friday morning.
Pressley allegedly robbed and raped a 78-year-old woman after breaking into her home in East New York Thursday morning. 1010 WINS' Kathleen Maloney reported the victim handed over money and cellphones as she begged Pressley not to hurt her.

The suspect has been charged with rape, burglary, sexual abuse, criminal trespass and sexual misconduct.
Neighbors on nearby Glenmore Avenue said they have been extra careful since the attack and were horrified.
"What kind of monster is going to do something like that to an old lady," one woman asked.
