Police: LI Man Arrested After Alleged Hit & Run
NORTH HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – An arrest has been made in connection with the hit-and-run that left one man dead in Williston Park on Sunday.
Raymond F. Kalenka 45, was charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Death on Wednesday.
Police said Kalenka allegedly struck the victim, 41-year-old Dean Lalima of Albertson, with his vehicle around 4:10 am and then fled the scene.
Lalima was pronounced dead on scene by a Nassau County Ambulance Advanced Medical Technician.
