Police Investigating Possible Kidnapping In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for suspects who they say are wanted in connection with a possible kidnapping in Brooklyn.

It happened Sunday just before 2:30 p.m. on Marine Avenue.

Police said a 10 to 15-year-old Hispanic boy could be seen on surveillance video getting out of the driver's side rear door of a dark-colored Nissan Altima and then into the trunk of the car.

At the same time, police said an unknown black male could be seen getting out of the car, walking behind the boy and then closing the trunk after he got in, police said.

Another person could be seen in the video getting out of the front passenger side of the car, walking over to the trunk as the boy gets in and then getting back into the front passenger seat of the car, police said.

The car then drove off, heading east on Marine Avenue towards Fort Hamilton Parkway, police said.

The boy who entered the trunk had short black hair and was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants and white sneakers.

The Nissan Altima, which police said is possibly a 2007-2012 model, was also seen on surveillance video on 4th Avenue at the intersection of 100th Street and then again turning onto Marine Avenue from 4th Avenue.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), visit Crimestoppers.com or text tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
