Police Investigating Possible Hate Crime In Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a group of men who they say are wanted for a possible hate crime attack in Brooklyn.
It happened around 9:40 p.m. on Nov. 10 on Kingston Avenue in Crown Heights.
A 19-year-old Hasidic man was walking down the street when a group of eight men walked up to him, police said.
One of the men then punched the victim in the face, police said. The group then fled the scene.
Some of the suspects were seen on surveillance video, police said.
The suspects are described as black men in their late teens or early twenties, police said.
The NYPD's Hate Crimes Task Force unit has been investigating at least eight incidents, including graffiti of hate symbols in the area, since September.
