Police Investigating After Infant Dies In Queens
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are investigating the death of a 14-month-old girl in Queens.
Authorities said officers responded to an emergency call Friday night at a home on 228th Street in Springfield Gardens.

The emergency call was made after the child was brought home from a day care, 1010 WINS reported.
When officers arrived, they found Daniella Okoye unconscious and unresponsive, CBS 2's Dave Carlin reported.
The little girl was later pronounced dead at Franklin General Hospital.
This was the first week the family had used the day care center House of Tiny Tots in Jamaica, 1010 WINS' Roger Stern reported.
Daniella's parents told Stern when they picked up the baby from the day care she was already in her car seat and it looked like she was asleep, but they found it odd that she wasn't sucking her thumb as normal, so they called 911 when they got home.
"She sucks her finger normally even when she's sleeping, but I noticed that she wasn't sucking, she was still in the same position," Daniella's father, Simon Okoye, said. "I took up her hands, I called her name, she didn't respond."
Daniella's mother said she believes the girl died at the day care center after being mistreated.
"I saw tears dried on her face. I thought she cried a long time," she told Stern, adding that instead of trying to hide her daughter's death, workers should have called 911.
"They gave me a dead baby from the day care. My baby was not alive," the child's father said.
Police say there were no signs of trauma, CBS 2 reported.
"I just want to know why she died," Daniella's mother said.
The parents are now waiting for autopsy results.
Calls for comment to the House of Tiny Tots day care center were not returned, 1010 WINS reported. The business was empty Saturday when CBS 2 arrived, Carlin reported.
