Chinese Food Deliveryman Shot, Killed On Staten Island
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police were still on the scene Wednesday after a food deliveryman was shot and killed on Staten Island.
Around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, 50-year-old Richard Salvia was found shot in the head on Grandview Avenue in Mariners Harbor, police said.
"Police pull up, flashing lights. I looked down the block, all I see is a body," Lemar Bryant told CBS 2's John Slattery.

A nearby resident found Salvia lying in the street with bags of Chinese food on the ground near his body. He was rushed to Richmond University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Residents in the area told the Staten Island Advance that delivery drivers are often called to Grandview Avenue, which is a dead-end street, and then mugged.
"It's unfortunate what happened to him," one man told 1010 WINS' Roger Stern. "Am I shocked? No."
Bryant told CBS 2's Slattery that the killing could have been part of a set up.
"Most likely it probably was a person out there trying to get money, doing it the wrong way," he said.
Police said Salvia was from Turnersville, New Jersey. He had been working for the Crown Palace Restaurant on Forest Avenue. When detectives arrived those inside the business said they had only known Salvia for a few weeks and knew little about him.
So far, there have been no arrests. A police source said authorities have recovered surveillance video from the scene, CBS 2's John Slattery reported.
The investigation is still ongoing.
