Police: Group Robbed 2 Boys Within 20 Minutes At Brooklyn Subway Stops
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Monday were asking for help from the public in finding four teenage boys who robbed two teens in Brooklyn subway stations within 20 minutes earlier this month.
The robberies both happened on Monday, April 8. The first happened at 2:10 p.m. at the Church Avenue F train stop, when the robbers grabbed a 15-year-old boy, told him they had a knife, and took off with his cell phone.
Seventeen minutes later, the robbers struck another 15-year-old boy at the Seventh Avenue F train stop, and tried to forcibly rip away property. But they fled empty-handed in that incident.
Police have released a surveillance video of the suspects, which was captured before the second robbery.
