Police: Children Tied Up During Daring Home Invasion In Upscale Ardsley
ARDSLEY, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A violent home invasion rocked Westchester County on Monday night. CBS 2 has learned the three kids inside the house were tied up by their assailants.

The victims exited the Ardsley Police Station on Monday night shaken up, and with some injuries following the terrifying incident. Armed men stormed their house looking for cash, police said.
It happened inside their home on Bramblebrook Road at about 6 p.m., police said.
Ardsley Village cops told CBS 2's Derricke Dennis that two or three men stormed a back door and attacked the father of the house, hitting him in the head with a gun. His 15-year-old son was also assaulted, and his 8-year-old daughter suffered a scratch on her neck from being manhandled.
In all, five people, including two adults, were tied up in a bedroom, while the robbers ransacked the house for money.
The father owns a contracting business, and brought home the days' cash receipts and the thieves knew it, police said.
"We believe it was a targeted house. Not trying to alarm our residents at all, so we don't believe it was a random house at all," Det. Ronald Perkins said.
One neighbor described how the neighborhood was roped off for hours while police searched for evidence.
"We weren't told anything. I was just stopped, and I was asked where do I live and I told them and I was able to walk up with grocery bags and all," neighbor Marva Dunn added.
Investigators said they are still working on descriptions of the robbers who got away. They'll also have to tally the cash that was taken, adding up all the business receipts. They said the total was a significant amount, more than $10,000.
