Police Ask Public For Help Identifying Suspect In Several Bronx Robberies
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The New York Police Department is asking for help in identifying and locating a male suspect they believe is behind two robberies and another attempted robbery in the Bronx.
According to police, the first robbery happened at a Walgreens on Oct. 31. The suspect entered the store on Boston Road, passed a note to the clerk demanding cash and stated he had a firearm. The suspect got away with $187.
Police said they believe the same man struck again on Dec. 13 at a Western Union on East Bedford Park Blvd. This time, the suspect entered the location, passed a demand note to the clerk, stated that he had a bomb but fled without any property, police said.
Later in the evening on Dec. 13 the suspect entered a Little Ceasars on East 149th Street, passed a demand note and stated he had a gun, authorities said. He fled the scene with $340.
No injuries were reported in any of the incidents.
Police released several photos of the suspect with the hope that someone will come forward with information.
