86-Year-Old Woman Who Disappeared After Getting Off Plane At LaGuardia Found Safe
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- An 86-year-old Manhattan woman who mysteriously disappeared after getting off a plane at LaGuardia Airport has been found safe and sound.
Isabel Pascual was seen just before 1 p.m. Wednesday at LaGuardia getting off an American Airlines flight from Miami.
As she started to get off the plane, her son-in-law, who was sitting in a different part of the plane, yelled to her to wait for him in the terminals, according to police. But when he got off the plane, Pascual was nowhere to be found.
After looking an airport security cameras, police said she was seen a few minutes later walking down a passenger corridor in terminal D.
The NYPD issued a "Silver Alert" for Pascual early Thursday.
Fortunately, Pascual turned up at her apartment later in the morning.
