Police: 3 Suspects Sought In String Of Subway iPhone Thefts
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are urging straphangers to keep a close eye on their iPhones while riding the subway.
Three men in their 20s are being sought in nine thefts between Dec. 16 and Feb. 8.
Police said the suspects have been stealing iPhones from subway riders in Manhattan and Queens.
One of the incidents occurred on the R train; all of the others happened on the N train.
Police said the victims were mostly women in their 20s or 30s who had their devices stolen while riding the trains.
