Police: 2 Dead In Brentwood Crash
BRENTWOOD, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police are investigating a deadly crash on Long Island.
The incident happened just after midnight Thursday on Grand Boulevard in Brentwood.
A mini-van lost control and slammed into a pole before bursting into flames, Suffolk County Police said.
Responding officers tried to rescue the victims from the burning vehicle, but the intensity of the fire prevented them from reaching the victims, police said.
Two people were killed.
Their identifies have not been released.
