The victim, identified by family members as Tyreke Taylor, was shot once in the neck and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The victim's sister, Dawn Taylor, said she spent the day with her brother before he was shot and killed.

"We went out to eat, I met his new girlfriend, we had a great time," she told 1010 WINS' Juliet Papa. "I miss him. I love him."

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. Detectives are now reviewing surveillance video from the restaurant in hopes of identifying the suspect.
