Police: 1 Dead, 3 Injured In Brooklyn Shooting
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are investigating a shooting that left a mother dead and three other people injured in Brooklyn.
Gunfire erupted just after 9 p.m. Thursday near the corner of Clarkson and Flatbush avenues in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens.
"I heard about four or five shots," witness John Matthews told 1010 WINS' Al Jones.

A 28-year-old mother, identified as Fatima Gordon, was pronounced dead on arrival at Kings County Hospital, Jones reported.
It's not clear if Gordon was the intended target or an innocent bystander.
Two others, including a 13-year-old boy, were grazed and another man was struck in the right arm and backside.
Police have made no arrests. The investigation is ongoing.
