Pillow Fight Day Coming To Union Square Saturday
NEW YORK CITY (CBSNewYork) -- Tap into your inner child.
New York City's sixth annual Pillow Fight Day celebration is Saturday, April 2, and the action is taking place in Union Square. Participants are encouraged to wear pajamas while swinging soft, feather-free pillows at one another.
Pillow Fight Day, which first took place in New York City in 2003, is celebrated in cities around the world, including Amsterdam, Brussels, and Bordeaux.
The event isn't a free for all – there are rules:

- No hitting people with cameras
- No hitting people without pillows
- Remove your glasses beforehand
There will be donation boxes at the event for the pillows, which will benefit a no-kill animal shelter.
