Peyton the pig's goose was cooked. Her owner on Long Island apparently posted an ad on Craigslist stating that he was going to get rid of the 2-year-old pot-bellied pig because she didn't get along with his German Shepherds, 1010 WINS' Al Jones reports.
The frat brothers saw the online blurb, drove to Long Island, and rescued Peyton.
They took her back to their tiny off-campus apartment in New Rochelle. Someone saw the pig in their tiny backyard and called the Humane Society over the weekend.

It appears the Iona students were well intentioned, but didn't understand what it would take to care for a 55-pound swine.
After briefly going to college, this little piggy went wee-wee-wee all the way to a shelter.
Today Peyton enjoyed a breakfast of carrots and peanut butter.
"We're having a lot of fun with him, I gotta say," said Dana Rocco, who runs the shelter at the New Rochelle Humane Society.
Of the frat brothers, she said, "It appears that they were trying to do the right thing. They were trying to help out Peyton."
No more city life. Peyton is headed for a new life in the country.
