Person Struck By Amtrak Train Near Jersey Avenue Station In New Brunswick
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Railroad officials said a person was killed by a train on the Northeast Corridor line in New Brunswick.

NJ Transit spokesman Dan Stessel said service was suspended between New Brunswick and Trenton for about an hour after the individual was struck by an Amtrak train near the Jersey Avenue station around 7:15 p.m. Friday.
Service has since resumed with delays.
Amtrak is also reporting service delays.
