Perez Signs With Nationals
NEW YORK (WFAN) - WFAN's Jon Heyman is reporting that former Mets pitcher Oliver Perez has signed a minor league deal with the Washington Nationals.
Tuesday, Yankees GM Brian Cashman said he has no interest in the left-hander. The Yankees considered Perez, before concluding that they would be better off without him. "It's not something that makes sense for us," Cashman said.
