People Asked To Avoid Swimming At Rockaway Beach Due To Sharks, Water Quality Concerns
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- First sharks, now water quality issues are keeping people out of the water at Rockaway Beach.
Another shark was spotted there for the second day in a row Thursday.
City officials also say swimming is not recommended because of inadequate water quality.
That advisory went into effect around 5 p.m. Thursday.
