Suspicious Package Probed Near Penn Station
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police investigated a suspicious package near Penn Station during the evening rush late Monday afternoon.
Authorities say they received calls reporting the suspicious package around 5:17 p.m.
Penn Plaza between West 33rd Street and West 34th Street was taped off for nearly an hour as investigators probed the package, which was ultimately deemed safe.
No injuries were reported.
